"SET ME ON FIRE"
AFRICAN/MODERN WORKSHOP
Prepare to move like fire and sweat like the ocean. Two powerful expressions of dance uniting to help you move further in your expression of dance.
This workshop is designed for the trained dancer and anyone who just wants to be free.
If the truth "be" told, as a dancer whose majority of training is from dance ministry, many have not had the extreme training as those who did outside of our churches. And a lot of times our Christian dance workshops aren't always intense enough. Are these workshops and conference good? Are they informative? Are they about God's business? Yes, Yes, and unfortunately sometimes No.
For years I've wanted to host a workshop that was solely based on true intense training. Christian workshops are missing the element of focusing on a few techniques and making those sessions intense as if you were in a hard core NYC dance class so you can truly go home with some focused training and continue honing what you learned. For example, the U.S. Military boot camps are going to give you drills after drills in a particular method of combat until you master it; until you are sweating like the ocean -- and this is the focus of this workshop -- drills and intensity.
We're not coming to play. It will be intense and focused. The enemy's not playing and neither are we.

[For those who haven't trained in dance and are feeling a little "shy" you can do both portions or just move like fire and sweat like the ocean in the African portion (2 hours of non-stop movement - African starts at 5:00 pm prompt].
