Dance is a Calling to Move the hearts of those who witness a movement that ignites change in the viewer's life. Welcome to MOVERS OF CHANGE DANCE AMBASSADORS. An ambassador represents his or her country. We at Movers represent the Kingdom of God. And 2020 has proven that we need to "up our game." People are tired of everything evil and for those who believe in God, we understand His love. We don't always understand things going on around us; nor do we understand why it seems as if God isn't hearing our cries. But when we refocus, we understand that God has always heard the cries of humans. We just need to trust Him.
Movers of Change Dance Ambassadors is a dance school designed not just to give the technical training of ballet, modern, African, Hip-Hop or tap; we are more than that. Sometimes dancers think that the mentioned techniques are the only "professional" dance that God created. We believe differently. We know that He created the ballet and placed the vision in a human's mind, but we also know that it's not just what we see in the dance studio. It's about diving into your creativity and birthing movement that only you can give as an individual.
We want our students - young and old - to be well versed in the various vocabulary of dance (and truth be told, we, just like any other dance school, can't teach it all); but we know it's going to take more than a plie, or arabesque or leap to show the audience that life is still worth living even when storms come to try and knock us down.
With this, trust us by enrolling yourself or your child because we honestly believe in the assignment God has given us using the vehicle of dance. We are a Christian dance academy and with that, we have something that is very valuable: teaching children and adults to use their bodies in a positive manner because in the end it's not about how good a dancer thinks he/she is but it's about who did you touch when you moved; whose life will be changed because of how you moved. Come and join us on this journey because we need an army to help spread God's love through our limbs. And whether or not you truly understand His love, we are here to be testimonies of His love, and once you begin to dance with us, you will experience it as well.
I, Caroline Jennings, and all teachers affiliated with Movers will continually give our best to instill values through positive movements as we also affirm each dancer under our care; for we are forever grateful for all your hard work and dedication.
GENDER IDENTITY: Movers of Change is a Christian dance establishment. We know without a shadow of a doubt that God is God; and that God created ONLY two genders. With that, we will not call anyone any pronouns except for he or she -- their God-given birth. We love what God loves. God hates confusion. Our world has come to a place where being a believer in Christ is considered domestic terrorist. That is a lie! Christians and Movers of Change are not domestic terrorists. Nothing has changed with our stance: To love people and treat them the way Christ does. With that, please note that we will NOT call anyone outside of their birth name OR birth gender. So, know that all are welcome to take class with us, but we will not allow confusion of birth identity in our classrooms or any part of our facility because we know that the enemy (Satan) doesn't like any human being. His desire is for us all to be in pain and using the tool of changing gender and using pronouns that don't go with a person's gender at birth is all a part of his plan to cause pain and confusion. We encourage everyone who is struggling on his or her gender identity to do a few things: First, truly put aside your desires and have a personal conversation with God. He'll listen to you. He's not like us humans that just cast people away. He won't, though, agree with any desires that are not a part of His original design for your life and that's because He honestly loves you. Secondly, do a Google search on the various people who have had gender surgeries. You'll find many that will tell you the terrible truths about changing one's physical gender. Also, Google people who were living the LGBT lifestyle and now have come away from it. The world wants us to not like God's original design. Listen, we don't have all the answers. We can't tell you or anyone else why you may have been attracted to the same sex from a child or why you feel uncomfortable in your birth gender. Some things are so deep that the human rationale can't explain fully BUT I tell you no doubt that God can. Trust Him! Also, the issues of this world is not just about who a person is attracted to, but it also includes the countless number of individuals engaging in sexual activities outside of marriage between a man and woman. So, many people (including us) have fornicated, have lusted, have been addicted to porn. All of these things are not what God wants. Sometimes you'll never understand something until you surrender your desires and "get with God's" desire. Our biggest concern is you (and we) having a personally relationship with Christ. Let's start there. After that, He'll move your heart, and you'll want to please Him in your thoughts, deeds and actions. We honestly, wholeheartedly care about everyone but just as in any household or establishment, we have a vision and a responsibility to uphold our vision and God's original intent.
